The San Perlita Independent School District will close all school operations for two days due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, according to Superintendent Annette Arredondo. Arredondo said this is a precautionary measure to help protect the safety and health of students, staff and families. The district will be closed Aug. 25 through Aug. 26, and all school operations will resume on Aug. 27. Arredondo said district officials will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates regarding the return to normal operations.
