I'm not yet convinced that I would characterize the commemorative events in NYC as "tourist events."

343 NYC firemen died running into the collapsing buildings trying to help/save people in those buildings.

But gravity won out and thousands died.

So, events to show respect for those brave NYFD firemen and those who died are not "tourist events" in my view, but a commemoration of those who died during that attack upon our Country. (which, btw, also represented the first and only invocation of NATO's Article 5).

Yeah, my guess of Ms Parton's opinion of Pres Trump may be more along the lines of ...
