I liked Patrick Stewart. He was a great actor.
Definitely the best Professor Xavier.
Rest in peace, Sir.

He was a Shakesperean to the core.
And his portrayal of MacBeth was superb.

Very talented and entertaining actor. I remember him going back about fifty years. Excalibur. The original Dune movie. Conspiracy Theory. All those X-Men movies. (To say nothing of Star Trek SNG.)
Really an international icon.

Years before Excalibur or Dune, he was in I Claudius. He was outstanding as Sejanus.

Saw him on Broadway doing two Beckett plays in one day, about a dozen years ago.
Unreal.

"When (presumably) nominated to complete the Ice Bucket Challenge (which involves filming yourself having a bucket of ice tipped over you or pay a forfeit to charity), Stewart released a wordless video in which he wrote out a cheque, then took two ice cubes from a bucket, put them in a glass of whisky, and toasted the camera."
