Or any other state for that matter. A court order has been issued, and even an extension, but Trump doesn't seem to care about court orders. He just carries on, regardless of the Constitution.

The normal remedy would be to send the U.S. Marshalls with an arrest warrant for contempt of court, but Trump's "bought and paid for" majority in the U.S. Supreme Court has taken care of that option.

Anybody who has gold in their investment account would do well to follow suite, at least until Trump is permanently put out of commission.

Left to his own greedy whims and obsessions, I figure it won't be long before Trump declares the private/investment ownership of gold to be illegal AND anybody who doesn't turn it into the government (for $0.10 on the dollar value) will be arrested and charged with subversion.

Wild guess? Don't count on it. We all know how Trump covets anything gold, even moreso if he sees it leaving the country.

But to the point, I wouldn't count on Trump to retreat, leaving with only a cutting remark in his wake. If he ever does retreat, it'll be with some devastating blow to reduce Iran to ashes. He'll need something like that to try and cover his political a** so he doesn't appear to be the loser he really is.

I have a feeling a lot of innocent Iranian civilians will have to die to feed Trump's ego.

When it comes down to the world's worst military blunders I'd compare Trump to Napolean Bonapart.

But then, it's possible that history may have a long way to go before Trump stops tripping all over himself.

I can only respond by saying that the toilet paper stampede of a few years ago wasn't caused by any "natural disaster." It was caused by a sudden spike and certainly not predictable, rise in the price of gasoline which, in turn, caused Joe Citizen to decide to spend their usual travel +vacations closer to home.

If anybody failed to be "prepared," it was the manufacturers of paper toiletries who got caught flat footed with warehouses overfilled with hotel/motel products. At least, that was their explanation for why retail paper toiletries where in short supply.

So . . . let's drop the "blame the consumer" schtick. There was no "natural disaster" that caused the toilet paper stampede that I spoke about. In that case, the "consumer" was the victim of sudden and unpredictable circumstances . . . not stupidity.
