Claiming victory in Tuesday night's debate Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said there will not be another debate against his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Before the debate Trump offered two of dates and networks agree, and organized things for more debates, Kamala says "No"
After the debate Kamala is offering to debate again, Trump says "No".

Both sides win. Americans lose.

Didn't' there use to be a debate commission? What happened to that?

Trump's post debate spin alternates between "I won" and "the debate was rigged." Why'd he say it was rigged if he's also saying he won it. Is he saying it was rigged so he won it? Or does he not understand basic logic, that winning a rigged contest isn't really winning at all and it's not in his best interest to claim it is?

Based on the above, I believe that Trump does understand his current limitations in his ability to comfortably pivot effectively in a rapid debate format. If this remote yet professionally informed diagnosis is anywhere close to the truth, Trump will avoid another debate with Harris lest his decline might become undeniable to even his closest and staunchest supporters.

The tables regarding Biden and Trump have taken quite the dramatic turn as Joe proved unable to counter Trump's bombast under the pressure of an intense debate. Tuesday night we witnessed Trump having the same types of difficulty with Harris. And based on the events of the last 60+ days, the GOP should clearly recognize how this is going to end.

He won't sell them on the open market, he'll sell them privately to an individual or individuals, so at least the market price won't plummet until after the sale information becomes public.

Of course, this is nothing more than influence peddling of the highest order because the money being funnelled to Trump will come from people already invested in him and his ability to do what they need should he become President again because it's almost assured whoever it is will likely lose most of the money they spend to buy the over-valued failing stock.

And any transaction could also be a part of a money laundering scheme as well, depending upon its providence. Ultimately, taxpayers will be on the hoof when Trump's "investors" write off their capital loss.

If it isn't a grift, Trump ain't interested.

The moderators in the ABC Jerry Springeresq debate gave her a layup. There needs to be a non biased coordinated event where both candidates are fact checked as they respond to the issues.

Trump scheduled the debate with Fox News. Harris was never consulted about that date or that venue and never agreed to it. She said, I'll see him on September 10th if he shows up, and then we can talk about other debates.

PS Trump said he'd only do a debate with Hannity, Ingrams or Watters moderating if the debate was on Fox. He rejected Brett Baier and Marth MacCallum as potential Fox moderators, so there is no way Trump is wanting "a non biased coordinated event where both candidates are fact checked as they respond to the issues."

The VP doesn't have a "boss".

There's literally no one with the ability to fire the VP. The only way a VP can be removed is term expiration, impeachment, or death. The entire job description is occasionally preside over the senate, take over if the president can't continue doing the job, and announce some vote counts. They usually do some other stuff because the 'job' would be utterly boring otherwise. But if they decide to sit and watch TV all day, no one can make them do anything else.

Nope. Biden and Trump agreed on two debates: the one in June and the one on September 10. Harris agreed to do the one on September 10 in place of Biden. Trump made up the one on September 4. after the DNC convention. It had never been agreed been agreed upon by anyone but him.

Kamala Harris NEVER, not once, ever agreed to a September 4 debate on FoxNews. Nor is there indication whatsoever that she had an input whatsoever when Biden allegedly agreed to such a debate. To argue that somehow Harris was committed to the Sept 4 debate or somehow had an obligation to participate in a Sept 4 debate is a lie of the most disingenuous nature. It is, in short, a Trumpesque argument. OneIron knows that. He is just trying to score cheap argument points with something that every informed person knows is a lie.

In any case, the important point is that now she has her campaign up and running, and is prepared to intelligently make decisions about her campaign, she is willing and offering to negotiate a second debate with Team Trump.
