Israel is the prize we got for winning WWII, along with Britain, who alone lost 2 million troops in N. Africa... it's not a great prize itself, but geopolitically the area hasn't diminished in importance.
Well, unless Trump truly is the biblical Antichrist (who's description and deeds he mirrors perfectly, in the eerily similar geopolitical climate described precisely as we have right now)
because IF he is, that bible character in that particular area of the world... will make a Peace Covenant with Israel and all her neighbors.
In this case built on his already established Abraham Accords, (to be renamed the Trump Accords as he originally wanted), and an additional 7 years Peace Treaty that the Antichrist character in the story himself breaks by attacking... Israel.
Yes. The story has everything. The Antichrist, backed by some Christians, not by others, directs the American Military, the modern day equivalent to the Roman Empire (last one was the Third Reich) to light up and destroy Jerusalem.
Which is when there is divine intervention, and New Jerusalem appears above what's left of the Old Jerusalem of today.
But that's just a very old tale that happens to predict this particular person, well described, in this particular end time scenario, also well described.
