What?

Someone Trumpsplain this to me.

How does forcing Americans to pay more for goods effect illegal immigration?

Well apparently, we exported $28 Billion in vehicles to Canada in 2023 alone

Over $57B in machinery in 2023

Apparently over $422 Billion in 2022.

I am sure that Canada won't even consider a retaliatory tarriff.

I wonder how that will impact our economy?

$294 B to Mexico in 2022

I am sure that Mexico won't even consider a retaliatory tariff.

I wonder how that will impact our economy?

And we went from 10% to 25%. Yeesh. He blames Mexico and Canada for their open borders when with the richest most powerful nation with a far greater population and HIM at the helm couldn't stop people from crossing... Priceless just freaking priceless and all the mouth breathers gobble it up.

I will again remind everyone that

dammit....

I will again remind everyone that Biden and Harris worked to LEGALLY, EFFECTIVELY and LONG TERM solve the border problem. All this accomplished despite Trump interference.

So, so far Trumps plans are to crush the government (our own, not some foreign one),
to install ridiculously high tariffs on our two nearest neighbors and staunchest allies,
to gut Medicare, Medicaid, and probably to go after Social Security. In other words, to
squash the few remnants of the Middle Class in order to give the Rich, yet another huge
tax break...

The president of Mexico has already announced tariffs in response.

Republicans love to make enemies. Just like Jesus would have done.

Keep in mind that Pres-elect Trump is transactional, usually without any plan.

imo, he is setting things up for negotiations to begin when he takes office.

Who might benefit the most when the negotiations for a tariff deal begin with the countries involved? Well, who usually benefits from his negotiations?
