We have troops in Syria

Btw America is fully responsible for the destabilization in the ME including Syria because of our war of aggression on Iraq

On top of that Syrian refugees have gone to Europe. If we can get a stable government in Syria they can go home stabilizatibf Europe easing our obligations there.

On top of that if we are able to create a friendly government in Syria that will be 1 more partner in our national security strategy in the M E

On top of that it would further weaken Iran and Russia influence in the region
