Saturday, February 15, 2025

With prices rising rapidly and showing no signs of slowing anytime soon, some of the nation's biggest grocery store chains -- including Trader Joe's, Walmart and Costco -- have begun limiting the amount of eggs individual consumers can buy.

Victory! Hail!

Hail! Tramp!

Donald Trump is an alloy of incompetence and a severe mental illness which includes a profound lack of empathy.

If he didn't care that Americans died of COVID (almost his entire behavior said he didn't), he won't care about hunger and starvation.

He's NOT going to care about hunger and starvation.

And he's sure as hell not going to care if any stupid MAGA ever has another stupid egg.

#2 | Posted by Zed at 2025-02-14 09:11 AM | Reply

MAGA tells me that the way to deal with egg prices is to stop killing chickens.

MAGA won't tell me that the Avian Flu is jumping from animals to humans (it is).

MAGA is in the process of deciding that their omelets are worth more than the lives of their own children.

Nothing else was ever expected of them.

Been buying them at Costco. Have to get 18 or 24 at a time, but they've been the most consistent and the most available for a good price.

It's a mad house getting into the cooler to grab them, though.

Fact is, Trump hasn't done anything over the last month but disassemble the federal government, attack civil rights, fire hard working employees and make everything more expensive.

MAGA!

I was told the economy was great under Biden. So what is Trump supposed to fix if everything was so great?

Fantastic approach to the situation!

No wonder republican politicians are fine with being openly corrupt and incompetent. Their voters expect nothing from them but to destroy America.

It's no wonder this nation is failing when idiots like BullBringer are here to vote for them regardless.

#7 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-02-14 01:51 PM | Reply

Trump is literally taking actions to make everything in America more expensive and deplorable Trumping MAGAts like BullBringer are here to blame Biden.

Are you sure you wouldn't prefer to blame Obama? It was his 3rd term!

-Are you sure you wouldn't prefer to blame Obama?

we still have posters blaming their problems on Reagan.

#9 | Posted by eberly at 2025-02-14 02:45 PM | Reply

There's something Reagan, BushJr, and Trump have in common.

They all increased the debt, devalued the dollar, weakened the government, handed out tax cuts for the wealthy eliminated services for the poor, and Trump specifically is using our tax dollars as his personal bank account.

Clinton, Obama and Biden all balanced the budget, prevented recessions, tapered off inflation, gave back to the nation.

Both sides are not the same.

#10 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-02-14 03:16 PM | Reply

nice deflection. You took exception to someone blaming Obama for something when he left office 28 years after Reagan left office when you see people dragging Reagan into arguments....LOL

Nobody is arguing both sides are the same. Certainly not me.

#11 | Posted by eberly at 2025-02-14 05:03 PM | Reply

He didn't blame Obama.

Be blamed Biden.

I mocked him by reminding him he believes Obama was running the show during Biden's presidency.

As for my response to you, I was showing you how Reagan gets blamed for the state of America today because he is the beginning of the Republican Party's destruction of America.

Why don't YOU explain why anything needed to be fixed since we were lectured that he inherited an awesome economy?

#15 | Posted by BellRinger at 2025-02-14 10:21 PM | Reply

You're asking people who didn't think something explain the "thought" to those who did.

Piss off, turdwasher.

Clearly the the answer is shutting down the CDC and NIH and blackout all communications and research on bird flu.

That'll fix it.

BTW, anyone want a dozen free range grown eggs from my chickens? Only $29.99 if you're GOP. $6 if you're not. Though lately when someone with maga gear or similar gear on their vehicle or apparel show up they are told there aren't any available.

Well, why not bitch?

It's your economy now, dumbo.

Do something about it.

They've been doing this since early December.

Why is it news today?

#19 | Posted by oneironaut at 2025-02-15 11:39 AM | Reply

"Why is it news today?"

Because the President got elected promising to lower egg prices on the first day.

He seems to be using Putin's version of three days.

By "first day", did he mean "of the 2028 Olympics" ... ?

You complained about egg prices.

Now you are being told you can't buy as many as you'd like or can afford.

See the difference?

He did inherit a humming economy.

But now things are already going in the wrong direction and Trump better be careful before he wrecks it........

Prediction: Trump will do every bandaide in the book for very short term (hopefully) rewards but end up wrecking the economy for the Dems to clean up.

The Republican behind-the-curtain brain trust has been planning this drown-the-federal-government-in-a-bathtub move for decades. It's got nothing to do with Biden. He's just another scare word now for the rubes.

"I was told the economy was great under Biden."

I was told that the economy was the worse economy ever under the Biden Crime Family.

Both things cannot be true.

Donald said that he'd have this egg thing solved ages ago.

Perhaps if he had kept his big mouth shut he wouldn't be catching the blame.

I blame Trump. The best solution would have been to make it illegal to mention the bird flew.
