Perhaps The Buffoon should familiarize himself with Art. 1 Sec. 4 Cls.1 of the Constitution, known as the Elections Clause. It says,

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.
Somebody help me out, I can't find any Executive Branch authority in those words. Or is this just another example of the chaos agent doing its work?

"The Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf."
- Obama.

Obama was a great President BTW

Doesn't matter, Et_Al.
The only remedy are the courts.
The courts have no power.
He'll do as he pleases.
The GOP will do away with any courts that disagree.
The DOJ will cut out all legal firms and lawyers that try and fight Trump.

Hope we only become like Hungary and not something far worse.

I told you so.

You all should start researching how counter revolutions form in authoritarian states. We are literally at that point.

The GOP have a plan in place to control federal elections.

Trump several times during the run up to the elections stated once he wins no one need worry about voting ever again and thanked Elon Musk for helping him win the election in Pennsylvania.

Other countries have fixed their election results. Why not here in America?

You're more concerned with what an anonymous person says than what the president of the United States is doing.

Sad that you're so in the bag for Trump you can't fathom it would be more than "the left."

When I look at aggregate polling numbers we are not anywhere close to negatives that would even remotely point toward a "counter-revolution" that is anything but coming from the left.

Here is RCP aggregate polling:

President Trump Job Approval
Approve47.9
Disapprove48.8
Disapprove +0.9
2024 Generic Congressional Vote
Republicans47.0
Democrats46.7
Republicans +0.3
Direction of Country
Right Direction43.1
Wrong Track50.9
Wrong Track +7.8

It didn't copy/paste very well so here is the link:

Certainly not great numbers for Trump but pretty offing far from a broadly supported counter revolution.

Do you not understand what the 3%'s are all about? What that three percent means? They erroneously think that only 3% of the population fought against the king. It is wrong, as is everything about them. The truth is more interesting. There were, maybe, 30-40 percent the population supported our revolution in some way. Maybe. Personally I doubt it was that high.

I have heard over and over how the right was going to put us in another Civil war if they didn't win. I have been told that by right-wingers, repeatedly. But now you get the vapors because of what's been posted on this thread? It's OK for the right to promise that, so openly say it, but it's wrong for the rest of America so stand up against fascism and the destruction of America?

I hope this can be resolved peacefully with Trump, Vance and others driving this travesty being neutralized. Usually we do that through elections. One of the best things about a democracy (republic counts in this context) is that it allows a peaceful transfer of power, and the population can blow off steam by voting. By protesting.

Trump starts messing with that all bets are off.

We all thought you were dead since you aren't posting on any of the threads of Trump illegally censoring and trying to hurt everyone and everything he disagrees with.

Not that I expect that to change.

Because both parties are the same and it's not like any of us stood to lose anything important.

There's really no conflict here. States can still have their elections as they wish, just make sure to verify citizenship and have the votes in by election day, no more adding votes later based on nonvoting registrations. Simple commonsense requirements.

Nope none at all. Because it won't survive the courts.

So you traitors best get busy and shut them all down.

So none of you Buffoon worshiper's can identify the legal authority for the Buffoon's order. Typical. They never can because it doesn't exit. The Buffoon's strategy is create chaos and reap whatever falls out. Not governance.

Btw, here you'll find a copy of the Buffoon's stupid. Enjoy. electionlawblog.org

"So none of you Buffoon worshiper's can identify the legal authority for the Buffoon's order."

Only nine opinions matter, and they ain't ours.

I guarantee you at least three or four Supreme Court Justices can identify Trump's legal authority.

As was the case with Trump trying to claw back money Congress had already appropriated.
