Unfortunately Poland just elected Trumper-type as President. Fortunately their President isn't as influential in policy as ours. He won by a fraction of a point, and will be an obstacle to democracy, but as I understand it, not the deciding factor.

Always assumed Putin would move the goalposts to get more and more. He's never going to actually end anything, just take as much as he can before breaking any "agreement."

Pres Trump seems to be giving Pres Putin all he (Pres Putin) wants.

Which seems to encourage Pres Putin to demand even more concessions from Pres Trump.

My first question would be ...

Why does Pres Trump (and the GOP, in general) seem to be so willing to participate in this two-step dance that Pres Putin is callin'?
