Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, September 03, 2025

The watching world saw a significant display of diplomatic unity in Beijing today, as China's Xi Jinping, Russia's Vladimir Putin, and North Korea's Kim Jong Un met in public for the first time. Alongside a vast military parade marking 80 years since the country's victory over Japan in World War Two, the meeting formed part of a day of statements for Chinese President Xi Jinping. Crowds of over 50,000 in Tiananmen Square witnessed laser weapons, nuclear ballistic missiles, and even robotic wolves - a display that will now be heavily scrutinized by Western defense officials, our security correspondent writes.

Trump also criticised Putin and Kim for conspiring against his country. "Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America. "May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration."

The stupid dumfux running our USIC fired so many talented and experienced analysts, linguists, and investigators that could help the US against this nefarious nexus.

America no longer has a seat on the world stage.

Trump is a failure.

Well we've been a rogue nation for all of our existence. Crushing nay sayers, ignoring sovereignty of all, just generally being a wanker.

Now nobody wanta to play with us. Has it finally caught up with us?

Most of it is probably ripped off/stolen versions of tech from other countries. China doesn't crate anything, they just reverse engineer and make it worse.

So I'm betting most of this is junk.

China was taught by the best.

Apple's deep manufacturing presence in China involved a significant transfer of technological expertise, which helped fuel China's rise as a global tech powerhouse. This was a consequence of Apple's need for high-quality, large-scale production, which benefited China in ways that went far beyond basic factory assembly.

Underestimate the Chinese at your own risk.

This is true ... now the Chinese are surpassing Apple. We had trouble with the ICE, so went straight to EV. Now no one can match China's capabilties.

In China we can build hundreds of large container ships a year. The US can barely build 1. China can build 10 warships a year, the US can't produce 1 in a decade.

Its all fun and games in Montana isn't it, until you realize the US carriers are pretty much sitting ducks to hypersonic missiles.

AFAICT the US can't build anything anymore, from HSR, ships, to weapon systems ...

My biggest concerns aren't with the hardware.

It's the software that could prove to be a problem.

Is OneNut TosseRigel?

Might explain the overt love for China and abysmal knowledge of America.

TosseRigel also pretended to live in America while selling his shht at the bazaar.

It seems like I have a lot more fun here than you do in wherever shithole you're living in.

So, relatively, yes.

Yep. All those Pakistani superweapons were a hoot. Didn't help them much when India kicked their asses in their recent border spat.

I won't say they are super villain geniuses but they definitely have got their sh*t together in the last 20 years. The chemists and engineers I know from China are damn smart and work their asses off.

People in the USA seem to actively hate intelligence and learning and dunk on kids who pursue that.

I don't get Tosser vibes yet, he hasn't waxed poetic about the superior military prowess of Pakistan and how they will destroy the US military or whatever. I'm still thinking Russian troll. Dude just isn't clever enough. Tosser at least could look at a map when talking about California geography.
