Trump is a stupid, lying sumbitch who counts on everyone else being as stupid as he is. Given recent administration chatter, threats of military action tribunals against Walmart executives should be ext.

Trump's default response to inconvenient reality is to threaten all within earshot. As a mode of governance it guarantees disaster.

But will Trumpers ever figure out that consumers pay tariff taxes?

He also counts on everyone else to be afraid of him.

Nothing but an incredibly stupid sock puppet of Stephan Miller and Russell Vought.

I suspect that WalMart's executive team will focus on shareholder value, rather than appeasing a bully. Willingly cutting profits is a great way for a CEO to lose his/her job...

Every f'n idiot knows this, but still Trump lied about it. I get why he tried; it's a way to lower the debt without cutting spending, but it was always doomed. Like a salesman, Trump knows how to promote. But, after the sale, his execution sucks. It always has. I'll be f'n joyful when this era of magical thinking is finished. Trump is a coward. Make the f'n cuts or STFU.

Walmart's CFO said that they might hold off on raising the prices of some products so as to gain more market share as the smaller retailers won't be able to absorb the price increases as well as they can. And yet people still wonder why so many despise Walmart and have sworn to never shop there (I can count on one hand the number of times that I've been inside a Walmart store).

Remember when republicans pretended to care about small businesses.
That was before they became the party of the oligarchs.
