It's actually the Army's 250th birthday celebration even though Communist agit-prop news is calling it "Trump's Birthday Parade."

So you're saying trump cares more about the army than his birthday?

Who else is having a birthday parade on Saturday? King Chuck III! The annual "Trooping of the Colour" is a flashy event. Chuck himself will be in the parade, and has a very ornate military uniform. And a gold carriage!

The United States Army 250th Anniversary Parade is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2025, in Washington, D.C., United States, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army, the oldest of the six branches of the United States Armed Forces.[1] The parade will also celebrate veterans and active-duty service members. The parade is part of the celebrations marking the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding.

It also coincide with President Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

Parades for a President's birthday reduces our military who train for wars not for spectacles like this $100 million dollars waste of taxpayer dollars; with the tax cuts the rich just got gifted they should probably offer to pay the ta for this expensive parade at the exact same time they are cutting Medicaid for thousands of low income Americans. What kind of nation does something so heartless to so many Americans? I will only be feeling when this Hitleresque Parade is shown on my TV which I will not watch; I'd probably vommit if I did!

Rofl, there were polls showing very similar percentages of people do not agree with woke subjects like pronouns and men in women's sports, but liberals completely ignore those. However, produce a random poll that meets the liberal narrative and the DR lib kids go gaga.

Danni,

Danni,

It was around mid-2023 when the Army began formal planning for its 250th anniversary.

Biden was President at that time.

Who knew Biden also wanted to celebrate Trump's birthday?

The things you learn on the internet.

Pretty sure there were no plans for a military parade in 2022-23, Billy Boy.

#26 | Posted by LegallyYourDead at 2025-06-12 05:43 PM | Reply

Legal,

The dates I mentioned are accurate for beginning the plans.

The Army had been planning a week long celebration for its 250th anniversary.

It appears Trump suggested adding a military parade in February this year which was something not done since 1991.

The optics only looked "bad" because the event happened to fall on his birthday.

Celebrating 250 years since the Army was founded isn't exactly controversial. It just so happens the Army was established on June 14, 1775 which is the same day as Trump's birthday.

A coincidence?...perhaps...unless even God wanted America to celebrate Trump's birthday.

Americans were taught that we have no king, and we don't force our military to bend a knee to their leader, they owe allegiance to our Constitution.

The Army parade will include troops in period uniforms carrying the appropriate firearms.

Uniform eras included will be Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, recent conflicts like Iraq/Afghanistan, and today's Army.

That will be an amazing thing to watch.

Even liberals who know America's history may appreciate it.

Clown,

"It really is the end of America."

You don't get it.

The Civil War is still, after all these years, a thorn in the side of many Southerners. Then, add the fanatical effort to tear down statues and discredit historical figures who accomplished great things, but are being erased because they owned slaves.

This parade, if it happens the way I've read, might actually be the most unifying thing we've done in decades.
