Iran holds many, many cards.

There is only the ladder of escalation.

Either you go up the ladder or you go down

Either you do more destruction or you stop

US and Israel simply cannot hit enough targets to stop the attacks on the oil "pipline"

That means escalation, moving up the ladder

Which means moving towards attacking Iranian oil and civil infrastructure

Hitting the oil will mean even HIGHER oil prices.

Hitting the civil infrastructure, means, if the escalation moves sufficiently up the ladder, to attacking the desalination plants.

Well, the gulf states and Israel ALSO have desalination plants

And Iran can and will hit them.

And if you didn't know, Israel already attacked Iran's oil and desalination plants but were apparently told to back off.

This is edge of the abyss stuff

And we reached it REAL quick

Oh and a couple more rungs up the escalation ladder are tactical nukes.

If you weren't aware, Iran's drone and missile and targeting ability/capacity has come as a HUGE shock to the US military.

And we have reports that Iran tried/is trying to hit the continental US with drones.

As a caveat, this is coming from the Trump administration so take it with a truckload of salt.
