Olympic Committee announces new Policy protecting females

The policy explains that, for all disciplines on the sports programme of an IOC event, including the Olympic Games and for both individual and team sports, eligibility for any female category is limited to biological females. Eligibility for the female category is to be determined in the first instance by SRY gene screening to detect the absence or presence of the SRY gene. Based on scientific evidence, the IOC considers that the presence of the SRY gene is fixed throughout life and represents highly accurate evidence that an athlete has experienced male sex development. Furthermore, the IOC considers that SRY gene screening via saliva, cheek swab or blood sample is unintrusive compared to other possible methods.

You mean the official announcement by the IOC? Maybe you're unfamiliar with the facts the IOC excluded from their press release.

Transgender women athletes are now excluded from women's events at the Olympics after the IOC agreed to a new eligibility policy on Thursday which aligns with US President Donald Trump's executive order on sports ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Trump's executive order
In the US, President Donald Trump signed the executive order "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports" in February last year, and pledged to deny visas to some athletes attempting to compete at the LA Olympics. The order also threatened to "rescind all funds" from organizations that allowed transgender athletes to take part in women's sports.

Within months the US Olympic body updated its guidance to national sports bodies citing an obligation to comply with the White House.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's completely reasonable to limit males from competing in female sports, regardless of what they identify as.

It's the GOP pretending that they give an eff about women that I take issue with. After they ban women from medical intervention after rape and elect an adjudicated rapist who Epsteined kids, intruded into teen girl's dressing rooms while they were in various stages of dress/unress, and bragged on video about sexually assaulting women.

I posted an article connecting the dots of the IOC policy change to the GOP strong-arming the IOC and threatening to ban trans athletes from the Olympics.

Female is defined by biological science. Woman is defined by psychology, which isn't even a science, you can call it one, you can define words to pretend it is. But then you'd be acknowledging you don't know shit about science and the foundation of replicating results.

The whole separation of "woman" from "female" is con by modern psychology, it applies to no other mammals (thats the definition). Yet we know there are female-female/male-male sexual interactions between dozens of mammals, particularly primates, dolphins, and seals. How do we know at least one of these isn't a "man" but is biologically a female?

What does science call these mammals? It doesn't it doesn't have a name for it. This gender science is just a con.

Look if you feel the need to surgically change yourself to be physically what you feel mentally, other than being older than 18, no issue from me, just don't try to justify it with some pseudo science.
