"In one case, a Mexican immigrant said at least four assailants robbed him and the other immigrants in his home at gunpoint. He was struck in the head with a weapon; another victim who lived in the house said his forehead was split open with the butt of a gun; it required more than ten stitches and staples.

The assailants also pointed a gun at a baby as they demanded money from the infant's parents.

The immigrants said they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between assailants posing as ICE agents and real agents, 'because now they all come hooded.'"

~snip~

A tsunami of violence and scamming has been unleashed upon vulnerable migrants because of the abominable xenophobic Trumpf junta. Status quo and AIPAC-funded politicians from both parties do not want to abolish ICE or DHS because they like their ability to deport Muslims, People of Color, and other undesirables without judicial warrant or due process hearings before Immigration Judges (IJ), like it used to be in the pre-9/11 and pre-GWOT era.

These status quo dinosaurs will bleat that ICE and DHS merely have to be "fixed" or "reformed."

No one wanted to "fix" or "reform" the Gestapo after the Third Reich fell. That sinister organ was cast into the four winds the way ICE and DHS should be, starting first by Executive Order on 20 Jan 2029, followed up by Congressional legislation.

When he least expects it, Stephen Miller is going to be "ICEd" one day.

Get your wardrobe at Bass Pro or Cabella's, wear a mask, behave like one of Hitler's Brownshirts and you've nailed the role. Hell, you might even get a government signing bonus if you go the distance.

Question: What's the difference between a masked ICE thug and a run-of-the-mill thug?
Answer: ICE thugs regularly get away with murder.

Fake ICE Agents Terrorizing Migrants Throughout US

This is what I voted for.

I guarantee the wrong thing in this post gets the focus of attention but please try to read the intent.

This is an unfortunate outcome of the escalation of activities on the left and the right in regards to illegal immigration enforcement.

The left hasn't cooperated, so the right upped the intensity in areas of sanctuary cities in response. So the left tried to impeded those agents, and the right brought in more unqualified agents, and this back and forth has escalated. Now even the good agents are doxed and have to hide their identities.

This opens the door to vigilante impersonators.

Like the language around gun control... we need to de-escalate the immigration issue, and come up with some common sense cooperation on it's enforcement for the safety of all.

I knowingly concede in the climate we are currently at this won't be possible. I'm not assigning blame or excusing anyone, I'm only stepping back and looking at the state of the state on this. If you want to assign a position on the topic to me based on this post, you've missed the point of the observation.

Unmask ICE and make them identify themselves, as is done with law enforcement.

"This is an unfortunate outcome of the escalation of activities on the left and the right in regards to illegal immigration enforcement."

Stupid "both sides" nonsense.
Tell us, KWRX25, which "side" is doing the illegal immigration enforcement?
That's the side that is escalating things and giving rise to the "unfortunate outcome" of domestic terrorism.

Why aren't you simply honest enough to say it's Trump and Trump alone that is responsible for the escalation of illegal immigration enforcement?
You not being able to do that puts you in league with those who won't to take a side on whether the moon landings really happened.
Won't take a side on who really won the 2020 election.

It doesn't do anything to improve your credibility.
Quite the opposite, your credibility is in the toilet.
Thanks for reading and understanding.

At this point, we are definitely going to need a truth and reconciliation process when this regime is ended.

The default should be prison for all ICE scum.

And we should start a search for everyone they've detained and deported, and give them ALL free tickets back to the US and a fast track to green cards and citizenship. And reparations of at least $1000/day they were held in detention or out of the country.

I don't suffer fools. From "operation wetback" to the bracero program to militarization of the border to today's naked racism the right has done nothing but attempt to enslave, brutalize, victimize, and criminalize brown people. You idiots know nothing.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in post-apartheid Suid-Afrika worked out well.

This excellent program succeeded in part because the number of billionaire oligarchs in Suid-Afrika was far less than the number controlling the US and Israel who would obviously oppose it tooth-and-nail in the future.

Nevertheless, we should all support the idea on principle.

The three regimes that need it: The US, Israel, and Russia.

Hungary is cleaning house without a TRC it seems.

the left has pushed open borders snoofy, then sanctuary cities.
The right got power and upped enforcement.
The left doubled down on sanctuary and enforced stricter no cooperation
The right sent in more agents
The left started doxing
The right started wearing masks

It's all tit for tat bullshit rather than a comprehensive non-partisan approach to an immigration policy reform.

regardless of who is wrong or right you can't agree that the current situation of vigalantes impersonating ICE is due to an out of control arms race of each side trying to one up the other in escalating the stakes?

the left has pushed open borders

And?

Name one thing wrong with people immigrating to America?

Is it because they're generally more productive and intelligent than the morons Trump voters, sitting around collecting welfare?

The problem isn't that they're coming.

The problem is republicans have made it difficult for people to come legally.

There are a lot of people who benefit from their cheap labor.

It's everyone who goes and buys groceries at stores.

America was propped up by undocumented immigrants doing all the "black jobs".

People like you don't understand how you're paving the way for mass incarceration and forced labor to fill the void left by undocumented immigrants no longer doing "black jobs".

the left has pushed open borders ...

Which is just more Trumptilian nonsense.

Democrats have pushed for comprehensive immigration reform, including pathways to legal status and border security, on more than a dozen major occasions over the past two decades.

However, because Congress requires bipartisan support to overcome legislative gridlock, these attempts have consistently stalled, fallen short of passage, or been blocked by Republicans.

-The problem is republicans have made it difficult for people to come legally.

I keep reading here that it's the republicans who've made it easy for undocumented immigrants to be here.

It's the republicans who look the other way rather than "make it difficult for people to come legally".

The rest of your post is spot on. We all benefit and American needs this labor.

We pretend it's all bad bad bad when running for office because average Joe is too stupid to understand the reality of how much we rely on it.

each side trying to one up the other in escalating the stakes?

#15 | POSTED BY KWRX25

I'm interested. What exactly do you think that the stakes are?

Speaking for my 20,000 square miles of Texas, NO ONE was talking immigration crisis before Trump and MAGA.

NO ONE'S talking about it now. Because there never really was one.

What Trump/MAGA is NOW talking about, dropping immigration as an issue, is the M"Muslim threat" in Texas.

How stupid do you people really want to be about things like this?

#15 | POSTED BY KWRX25

Put another way, my local MAGA politicians spend an awful lot of time and money attempting to stampede voters towards some existential fear of the others.

They are currently terrified of "Sharia Law" in Texas. They may as well be terrified of leprechauns.

I might take this "blame the Dems" bs more gracefully if the GOP hadn't been sabotaging attempts at immigration reform since Reagan's amnesty.
Never any enforcement against the largest exploiters of immigrant labor, Ag/meat processing/construction. Never a white guy that employs illegals busted. The campaign contributors get first consideration and they're not about to start raising wages to attract citizens. And a never ending parade of further obstacles and delays for those actually "doing it the right way". Kinda makes all this uproar seem like it is really more about non-whites shortly becoming the majority in this country and white's political dominance eroding.
In a word, racism.

"the left has pushed open borders snoofy, then sanctuary cities."

You would too, if you supported Federalism and Small Government and Free Trade.
Somehow, you have either forgotten you believed in those things, or remembered that you never really did.

Until Trump politicide immigration, most police themselves and especially big city police leadership supported sanctuary cities.
Can you tell us why the police specifically supported sanctuary cities for immigrants?
What was in it for the police?
Can you demonstrate a basic understanding of the issues in play?

"The left started doxing"

No they didn't. Police, like all government workers, are public servants.
When Michael Fanonoe wore a name tag next to his badge, was he doxxing Officer Fanone?
I wonder if you ever actually claimed to oppose the Secret Police, now that you're licking their boots.
Can you demonstrate a basic understanding of the issues in play?
