"Hey, Bibi! How many of them stoopid Mohamedans have y'all killed in Gaza since 7 Oct 2023?"
"Well, evil Professor X, as of today the IDF has finally liquidated: 73,000 Muslims. This is perfect if you have OCD about even numbers. Why do you ask?"
"Well Bibi, any time y'all need help with them hijab-wearing sand n***ers, I can send you a posse of Texas Rangers, free of charge. Texas is mighty good at killin'. Yee-haw!"
"Todah rabah, prishmishkin!"

If this is all the GOP has got, "Sharia Law", then they're going down hard in Texas come November, and Trump will just have to take direct action and confiscate the ballot boxes.

This is like the bumbling Texas Take on accusing the other side of what you yourself plan to do.

And many Afghans who fought alongside USSOF and conventional forces in Pashtunistan settled in Islamophobic Texas where they have been mercilessly persecuted under the sinister Trumpf junta and the vile Abbott regime.
Recently one such Afghan who fought with USSOF was murdered over a parking spot and the DA declined to prosecute the shooter.
Hmph.
I wonder how uber-Christian James Talarico (D) will respond to these insinuations of Democrats wanting to magically implement Sharia Law across the vast "land of the free and the home of the brave?"

Nothing like good old fashioned Republicant racism.

Sharia law?
Did we get teleported back to 2004?
Is Al Qaeda sneaking in through the southern border?
Republicans have zero policies other than funneling tax dollars to the rich.

"Dems Want Sharia Law in America"
Even if you don't like Dems, this is a level of stupid which should make you not like Abbott either.

Republicans are going on tv and saying we should throw out the Constitution. I don't think it is democrats we need to be concerned about.

Icymi on the other thread, Hotwheel's special guest, Page the elephant, expressed her opinion about the Texas GOP convention. www.thewrap.com

Yea but ... Democrats want to turn your son into a woman!
They want to open the borders and let in Mexican Vegans!
They want everyone to be treated equally and to use our taxes to take care of everyone!

Sharia law is a red herring. Texas courts have rejected it's application. www.google.com

If God wanted you to have children he (God is a white man, so is Jesus) wouldn't have made you sterile. Or homosexual.

Banning IVF is born, no pun intended, of the biological finding so dear to forced birth politics, that life begins at conception.
I mean, if you believe life begins at conception, and who doesn't, because that's true.
Then you're certainly killing that life when you choose to spare some fertilized IVF embryous, and discard and incinerate the remains of the others.
So if you're gonna apply the law, IVF has to go.

It's part of the Christian Pro Life movement. Destruction of embryos (evangelicals, catholics, protestants, etc), separation of marriage and procreation (catholic), use of donors (protestants mostly), etc.

So Sharia Law states it approves of abortion, gay rights, and minorities being represented equally in government?
Abbot and his ilk spew their dishonest information because they know their constituencies believe without questioning.
They're like evangelists exploiting the gullible.

"Spread: Talarico +0.6"
A spread that small will come down to who's counting the ballots.

It's +0.6 Talarico, because UT poll has it +8 for him. The rest have it at 0 or +2 Paxton.

I agree about the polling numbers at this point.
I'm actually surprised this race is even close in deep-red Texas.

Cynically, I am not surprised this is close. Doing better than Beto though!
