The American order that gave Israel stability now constrains Israel's expansion. In response, Israel is dismantling U.S. hegemony in the region, turning allies Turkey and Egypt into enemies, and working to end the U.S.'s ability to restrain it. mondoweiss.net/2026/06/isra ... #Palestine #Israel

Future Prime Minister of Israel David Ben-Gurion spent his formative years in the Ottoman Empire and even raised a Jewish militia for the Turks during the First World War before he was exiled to Egypt. Two future leaders of their countries

Turkiye was the first Muslim-majority country to formally recognise Israel in 1948. Before ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu seized power in Israel, a covert Gordian Knot of intelligence cooperation tied Washington, Ankara, and Tel Aviv firmly together for 50 years. Israel's brutal ethnic cleansing of Palestinians changed all that, angering Ankara, as well as the international community, so now Turkish-Israeli relations are at a nadir.

According to the Global Firepower Index (GFI), nuclear-armed Israel is ranked 15th in the world while Turkiye is ranked 9th. Under Article V of the NATO treaty, Ankara can expect help from NATO in any future conflict with Israel, as well as from South Korea, who can provide them with powerful non-nuclear munitions designed to destroy North Korea's defenses. Ankara and Seoul have been loyal friends and allies since the Korean War when Turkiye came to their assistance under the UN flag. To this day, whenever there are sports matches (e.g. football, Tae Kwon Do) between competitors from their countries, there are no fights or rowdiness between fans. Parish nation Israel has isolated itself from the world and has few allies in the world.

In furtherance of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants against 37 Israelis suspected of committing war crimes in Gaza. Besides Benjamin Netanyahu, warrants target Defense Minister Israel Katz, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and military chief Eyal Zamir, among others.

Israel knows if they can keep the chaos going, the world will look past their ethnic cleansing in Gaza and Lebanon.

After the midterms, Turkey is likely to enter into a longterm, trilateral nuclear security agreement with both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Essentially a nuclear umbrella that will overlap Turkey in the event of expulsion from or the dissolution of NATO.

Israel is looking for the next Eternal Foe.

Iran is too much for them, even With Assistance from Uncle Sam.

They need a weaker, more manageable, Eternal Enemy.

They gotta keep the People in Israel Terrifed to keep Likud on top.

Iran was just too hard a Nut to Crack.

Bummer....For Them.

Not to mention with China and Russia, as the Saudis are now moving away from the US and towards those countries again.

Then they better not mess with Turkey.

Not sure what you've heard, but Turkey is much stronger than Iran is.

Global Rankings: Turkey ranks among the top 10 global militaries (No. 9) according to the Global Firepower 2026 Index, while Iran ranks further down (No. 16).

What we are witnessing is an example of mens rea or "guilty intention."

"The wicked mind goeth where no man pursueth."

Only a guilty mind is worried about getting caught or challenged by a future adversary.

The innocent mind does not operate that way.

The Israelis know they are committing heinous crimes and blasphemies and are concerned that the next
"beat cop" may pinch them.

We will never see detente between Tel Aviv and Tehran because the ethnic cleansing Likudniks need an eternal bete noir like Iran and soon to be Ankara.

But as the NYC primaries just showed, and other races across the US, irrational Islamophobia has run its course in America, no matter how hard John Fetterman, Randy the "Hebrew Ham Sandwich" Fine, Alan Dershowitz, mega-oligarch Michael Bloomberg, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sebastian Gorka, George Santos, Chuck Schumer, or Laura Loomer stamp their hooves.

See Muslim NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) for more info.

If only.
New Yorkers are not a microcosm, unfortunately.
They're far too educated and wealthy and multi-cultural.

The ROKs will stand by Turkiye in a heartbeat and South Korea has super powerful munitions designed as their counter to the NORK's nukes. Seoul has demonstrated a military can be effective without having nukes (similar to what Iran just demonstrated. And US nukes didn't help us in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, or Iran.)

While Ankara ha been amassing friends and allies over the decades, Israel has been isolating itself more and more.

Nope. There have been exploratory talks about them joining mutual defense pact, but it did not involve sharing nukes or any kind of nuclear umbrella with Turkiye. SA and Pakistan have already said they want their agreement to remain bilateral.

NATO is not going to let Turkiye join another nuclear alliance.

This is so basic even George Washington warned about it two hundred years ago.

Is BRICS Becoming an Anti-Western Bloc?

"For many countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia, BRICS offers an attractive platform which promises economic advancement without any prerequisite conditions of forceful alignment. But for others, particularly India and Brazil, there is concern that BRICS could become excessively aligned with Chinese geopolitical interests."

The Israeli will undoubtedly attempt to destroy synagogs specifically as they did in Iran.

Who was President 17 years ago? Since that's where you intend to lay blame for everything, it would be your darling Obama's fault.

It happened because Russia invaded Crimea.

Russia has been trying to break the post war global hegemony going back to when it was still the USSR.

I'm wondering what you think is in it for you.

Care to tell us?

G7 - Wikipedia:
Russia's membership was suspended in March 2014 in response to its annexation of Crimea.[26][27][28] Members stopped short of permanently ejecting the country,[29] and in subsequent years expressed an openness or express desire to reinstate Russian participation. In January 2017, Russia announced it would permanently leave the G8, which came into effect June 2018.[30][31] In 2018, U.S. president Donald Trump first advocated for Russia's return at the 2018 G7 Charlevoix summit, backed by Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte, but all other members rejected the proposal.[32] Trump again renewed his push in 2020, though Russia expressed no interest in returning.[33][34]

The intergovernmental organization BRICS was conceptualized by British economist Jim O'Neill in 2001 and politically founded by the governments of Brazil, Russia, India, and China in 2006.

That's when George W Bush became President because of a "rigged" election.

The bloc's inaugural summit was held in 2009 (Wiki)

Bush was still President.
