idk watching cop cams, I can honestly say thats not a job I would want. I get paid 3-6X and I don't have to put up with the emotional stress of that position, idk how they do it day in and day out; Americans are so disrespectful.

The general public is probably fine, but some of the people they have to deal with are monsters. Prison is too good for them IMHO.

We can't have nice things because those 0.1% of the population destroy the idea of a civil society, and there's very little can do.

Someone at work mentioned an interesting factoid. Boomers had all this social safety net without paying for it. Babysitters, nice neighborhoods, walk in the city, parents lived nearby, parks. Today you need to pay for everything that makes the world nice while living in a city, where you pay close to 45-50% taxes. Private schools, private gyms, daycare, expensive weekend get-aways....

The judge let the man go on for a few minutes, smiled, reduced his sentence. No suggestion he be quiet or that he was out of line or that he was wrong.

This is my argument about complying; the judicial system seems to work, just comply and go to court.

I was in a courthouse in rural VA a few months ago, and a defendant was challenging a moving violation charge. Cop gave his testimony. Defendant, in court, said the cop was lying, the cop knew it, the defendant could prove it ... pulling no punches. "Cops are liars," in court, under oath.

I find it strange you didn't articulate the proof .... I kind of feel like your story was BS given you wrote so much yet produced no evidence.
