The fraud is coming from inside the house.

One of the reasons I come to the DR somewhat less than I used to is because I can only take so much horrifying information about how Trump is totally fucking up America. I just get angry and find myself venting that anger in my comments.

I hear ya. I enjoy good repartee, be it about politics, music, sports or what have you. But fighting with people too unreasonable or stupid to acknowledge the mind-blowing level of this administration's abuses and incompetence, day by day, hour by hour, lost its allure long ago.

It's far beyond the Ds vs the Rs. It's about basic moral values and respect for differences.

Trump continues to make a mockery of the presidency and has sullied the reputation of the United States around the globe for years to come. He has capitalized on the fears and ignorance of his followers and turned them against their fellow Americans. He's made them believe the majority of the country is evil, which corresponds nicely to his sowing seeds of doubt about the very idea of democracy.

It's infuriating, but more than that, it's depressing to continue reading, watching or attempting to speak rationally about the madman in the White House.
