Has any suggested giving billionaires another tax cut?

No worries. After November, the Democrats will control the House and Senate.

By January, after everyone is sworn in, the first thing Congress will do is pass surplus budgets, cut waste fraud and abuse, and put an end to adding more debt.

Finally, laws will be written or rewritten, to correct SCOTUS decisions. After all, that is the job of the Legislature.

They will pass a Constitution Amendment to put an age max limit on Congress and term limits on Congress.

Congress will want to finally recognize the ICC, but only after making laws that prior Presidents (with a few exceptions) won't be prosecutable by the ICC.

Obviously impeachment will happen.

Trump will be impeached, but he'll pardon everyone for anything covering the last two decades. Then, retire. JD will pardon Trump to heal the nation.

The Epstein files will still never ever make it through Congress despite their full access and guarantee of Speech and Debate protection to release all the Files into the Congressional record.

Congratulations, Republicans.
You Built That.

Congratulations, Democrats.
You'll have both houses of Congress.

Pass bills and laws to fix it.

Control of the purse. Surplus budgets.
Or, is it impossible for either party.

Thanks, Republicans. For nothing.

During George W Bush's 8 years, he and a Republican Congress enacted massive tax cuts that primarily helped the top.

A $5 trillion national debt and annual surpluses more than doubled. The budget more than doubled.

The road to systemic debt was paved ...

Trump and a GOP controlled Congress repeated that financial insanity (cut income, increase debt).

An individual who did that would be considered an inept fool.

And here we are.

A person is bankrupt if they owe a debt than they cannot, or will not, repay.
The US is bankrupt, as the old Soviet Union was, and the very rich will shed no tears over that fact. Their obligations to pay taxes goes way down, but they have to make sure another FDR never ascends to the Presidency. Hmmm...

I thought Clinton lowered Cap Gains taxes to where they are today ...

#10 HugeMass.

The obligations go to the people that haven't been born yet.
Thanks boomers!

Inflation is going to absolutely destroy future generations, either that our a complete reset of America. Someone mentioned Democracies tend to go towards authoritarian to fix all the BS the previous generations voted for themselves. idk if true, but certainly seems plausible.

LeftWing, RightWing won't matter its a horseshoe.... Democrats and Republicans are just an elite fight to see who wins.

None of the morons here will win regardless of the party that wins.

When Trump tries to cut a dime of waste, fraud or abuse the left whines like babies.

But there will definitely be losers. Like you.

"Thanks boomers!"

Boomers did not start the fire. It's been always burning since the world was turning. Boomers did not design the system. Speaking for myself I don't control any of it and I just figured out how to survive and thrive in it and help my family make their way thru it.

I survived the Churn and you are still in it. Apparently spending your precious time whining about all the toys boomers have accumulated.

Have fun with that! I hope it works out for you. Doesn't seem likely tho.

Boomers did not start the fire.

They most certainly did .... it was falling as a percentage from WWII till 1975 then went up again ... boomers became the largest voting demographic.

I get it, you can't accept your guilt. It takes intelligence and humility to do that and you certainly haven't demonstrated it.

Runt's child-raping idol is responsible for 30% of the national debt.

"I get it, you can't accept your guilt."

Yup. I am guilty. As charged. Of surviving the Churn.

If you are lucky someday you might be able to say the same thing.

But like I said. Doesn't seem likely the way you are going. Unless you plan on defeating the system by whining about it.

1Nutcase is feeling SO guilty about running away his home country rather than standing in front of tanks there.

Because he's such a much better person than anyone else here... just ask him.

Oh yes commie spyboy wannabe. It all started in 1975. That was the year Boomers started the FIRE and destroyed America!

And I completely whipped the system and took total control of it that very same year by joining the Marines and putting my life on the line to serve my country. And I have been living high on the hog since then at your expense, of course!

What have YOU done with your life about the FIRE besides whine about it?

Looks to me like this election has made you maga maroons more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

We don't have control of either yet.

And let's see how maga maroons respond to losing first.

And passing any "bills or laws to fix it" would require compromise across the isle AND the president's signature.

Are Republicans ready for that?

Not likely. The odds are not in our favor.

But at least accountability is coming. Are YOU ready for that?

I have a lot of respect for the marines.
They are an important part of the navy.
