When “party over country” only goes one way
Haley Stevens is being called a traitor, but by reversing her endorsement of Abdul El-Sayed, she is showing exactly the kind of courage moderate Democrats once cheered.

She has plenty of company within her own party over opposition El Sayed.

Is this her?
On Twitter (X), on April 14, 2026, Haley Stevens posted a critique of Republican Mike Rogers, calling him "the worst kind of politician...". In the post, she attacked him for: -Getting rich off his position of power -Helping kick off the opioid crisis -Letting Big Pharma rip off Michiganders - Demanding more tax cuts

Haley Stevens is being called a traitor
The stakes being what they are for this country, a traitor she is.

And what do you think the stakes are for this country come tomorrow?
As ever, you seem to root for the bad guys.

Patricide Jeff, why does your boy Rogers have two registered Israeli agents on his staff?

He campaigned with Hasan Piker. That be the equivalent of Mike Rogers campaigning with Nick Fuentes, and yes I'm aware that he was at a WH dinner under Trump which is brand stupid.
Lie down with dogs and one gets fleas.

Headline fail. Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Adam Kinzinger, John Kasich, John McCain and many others all had the "traitor" label thrown at them. It's stupid and eyerolling when either party reacts this way to dissent.
Attacking the supposed rationale for the dissent is one thing, but calling someone a "traitor" literally implies they've committed treason against something they were supposed to be unquestionably loyal to. It's nonsensical partisan rhetoric, although many partisans do take it seriously.

But just brand stupid. I'm not foolish enough to think it reflects poorly on him along with his history of adultery, conning people, lying, raping kids.. I still voted for him because I'm a stupid pile of s*&^ and am damn proud of it!

Jeff hasn't been able to stop thinking about Hasan Piker since the RNC showed those pics of him in his undies.

When "party over country" only goes one way, you're left with today's MAGA Party.
What's funny is when morons like BellBringer think they've got a "gotcha" moment, but do nothing but shine a spotlight on their own glaring hypocrisy.

"When "party over country" only goes one way"
More like ISRAEL over country. As Reinheitsgebot mentioned, Rogers' "spokesperson" Abby Ronson works for Israel via Clock Tower X LLC.
Israel owns Mike Rogers.... and now Haley Stevens.

But in this case, the word traitor is appropriate. Rogers and Stevens work on behalf of Israel, not America. When seen through that lens, their "partnership" is not so puzzling after all, is it?

The woman who started the press conference where Haley Stevens endorsed Mike Rogers is Abby Ronson.
Ronson is registered with the DOJ as a foreign agent for the Israeli gov't, she has been since May.
Ronson is one of two Rogers staffers registered with FARA as foreign agents. They both come from Convergence Media, which has a $46 million contract with thr Israeli Government.
