Broken clock is sometimes correct...

Let's see if the Dems manage to make this into the issue that costs them the midterms and the presidential election after.

Censored proves daily he's nothing more than a Republican pretending to be a Democrat.

Democrats are champions of civil rights and equality. It's what's carried the party since the 60s.

If trans rights are what cost democrats the election, then the party is dead and perhaps this is what America deserves.

"The war on women's sports is over,"

Conservatives fought against Black people being integrated into professional sports as well.

There were many battles, but in the end, Black Americans won their equality.

Trans people may have lost this battle. But the war is far from over.

Trans people will outlive their haters and current generations will accept them.

Ignoring the right or wrong of the situation, it's a losing issue in elections. The sooner Dems let this issue fall by the wayside, the better.

As you pointed out numerous times before the election last year, the foundations of our democracy were at stake. And Trump has shown you to be correct in less than three weeks of his rule. We have much more important things to worry about.

Censor,

I voted Democrat for decades until Trump.

When Trump ran the first time I knew that president might be able to nominate 3 justices and I absolutely did not want a liberal to have that opportunity.

It was becoming more and more obvious liberals were losing their sense of what is normal.

For me it was the transgender issue and the possibility of gays relegating women to a second class status that convinced me to stop supporting democrats.

Also, the blatant anti-Christian efforts of the far left is another thing that will further destroy the Democratic Party in my opinion.

You're a God damned liar BillJohnson. It wasn't us transgender people that made you vote for Trump the first time. It was because you were missed that the Supreme Court allowed gay marriage to become law of the land. You were pissed because you were jealous that two people of the same gender could get married and you couldn't before that. You've said so many times over the years. Even before I came out. Is there an ounce of honesty within you BillJohnson??

Hey BillJohnson!

I've got an idea - how about you pray to your god about the rise of Nazism in the US?

Oh...too bad.

Turns out prayer is astonishingly ineffective against Nazis.

- the blatant anti-Christian

The most blatant anti-Christian person and policy I've seen in my lifetime are sitting in the White House right now taking a crap on the Constitutional division of powers... and his Cultists don't care at all.

They showed us how much they cared when they voted for a traitor to the United States of America and the rule of law to POTUS. They don't care about the Constitution. They've proven that in spades.

BullJohnson voted for Romney.

I remember his talking about how homosexuals getting married was ruining the sanctity of marriage.

BullJohnson, whose marriage is a sham, telling others their marriages are somehow wrong, is exactly who conservatives are.

Hypocrites and liars. All of them.

BTW BillJohnson. You're not supposed to mix politics with religion. That's a very big no no. Just sayin

Males have no business competing in women's sports. Technically, under Title IX it's against the law. Regardless, Congress needs to pass a bill and have this signed into law just to make sure it never happens again.

F-off Lauramohr, if you're against this it doesn't mean you're homophobic. And stop using it as an excuse if you're being called out as an a-hole. I'm not anti gay marriage or anti transgender. I'm anti a-hole. Stop using your gender as an excuse to be one. I'm sick of it.

Laura,

You're partially right but missing a point.

My issue with gay marriage was the possibility of radical gays attacking churches claiming discrimination.

It was becoming obvious gays were singling out Christians out of spite because conservative Christians don't endirse gay marriage.

I wanted gays to have legal protection for relationships because they had no structure or foundation. Just didn't like the word marriage for different reasons.

I didn't vote for Trumo out of retaliation for the Suoteme Court passing gay marriage. When the court passed gay marriage that showed me the court was liberal enough to pass other extreme measures and I realised the court needed a conservative president to nominate the coming up 3 open seats.

At that same time transgenders had started pushing for full legal access to facilities where women and minor girls use and I was concerned the Supreme Court could pass that.

Now that the court passed gay marriage i saw gays were moving forward and anything was possible that liberals wanted.

So I voted for Trump to block liberals from having more opportunities to pass more anti-women anti-Christian idealogy.

You're right gay marriage had something to do with my voting for Trump but not for the reasons you assume.

#20 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-02-06 06:51 PM

- anti-Christian idealogy.

Would be passing judgement on and or condemning other people... and groups of people, who may have different kinds of imperfections of behavior than you do. Because all people are imperfect in some ways.

But that's only according to Jesus and Paul, so you may know more about Christianity than them.

And btw, Christianity isn't an ideology, it's a religion.

Your whole post is a contradiction you voted for Trump in retaliation for the Supreme Court allowing gay marriage and you're claiming it was liberals who did it. Oh and why are you trying to force your religious views onto this secular ran country??

#22 | Posted by LauraMohr at 2025-02-06 07:05 PM

Put these biased Democrat concepts and costs and beneficiaries up for a totally transparent and public vote. See what which and how the public supports.

Audit every facet of government and make it public. So much of your tax money and national debt is wasted on political ideology instead of actual public benefits.

These sanctuary Democrats that want criminals destroying your communities need held to account.
