I don't hate either of them. But I found Hillary much less ridiculous than Bernie. Larry David's impression of Bernie was spot on (old man sending back cold soup at a deli).

And the Democratic party, which Bernie is not even a member of, passed on him twice. So you think there's some deep love for Bernie's leftist politics in the general electorate that is absent in the Democratic party.

But since we're talking about coulda, woulda, shoulda, I note that Hillary is still reasonably sharp and would be finishing her second term right now if some people had voted in their own interests. And her veep (Tim Kaine) would be preparing to accept the Dem nomination at the spry age of 66. And Donald Trump would be off in Manhattan selling used cars instead of preparing to take the oath of office for the second time six short months from now.
