According to new laws in Afghanistan in public women can no longer read aloud or sing and must once again wear clothing resembling a beekeeper suit.

I really don't see why Lumpers aren't accepting the realities of different cultures, in different countries?

Do they think their's is better? If so how? How is the US teaching immigrants to behave "properly", and ignore the culture they came from?

How long has Afghanistan been actively involved in a war? War makes men in particular crazy. To think you're going to invade and free women from wearing burqas in such a place is insanity. Men are visual the burqa was a thin line of protection amid testosterone-infused young males after decades of war. It will probably take at least 30 years for that to wear off.

Trump and Pompeo who drafted a capitulation treaty with the Taliban committing to remove US troops from Afghanistan are largely to blame. So many military experts in service during GWOT & Afghanistan advised maintaining a presence there to deny the Taliban power. Trump only wanted advice from people who agreed with him. Or who had $ to give him.

There was plenty of time to get that military equipment back home and leave it as a "spoils of war".

As a commander, I have moved much equipment from the U.S. to theater, so I know it could have been done.

Biden was just doing what the young kids in his administration were telling him to do.
