Harvard will not agree to demands pushed by the Trump administration as a condition for maintaining nearly $9 billion in federal funding, the school's president said Monday. In a letter to the campus community, Harvard President Alan Garber said lawyers for the school have informed the Trump administration that Harvard "will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights." |
