The first group of 49 white South Africans to be granted refugee status by President Donald Trump's administration are due to arrive shortly in the US.

Three decades ago, on April 27, 1994, after centuries of white rule, Black South Africans voted in general elections for the first time. This marked the official end of apartheid rule, cemented days later when Nelson Mandela was sworn in as the country's first Black president.

Maybe you should educate yourself before making assumptions. The Afrikaners, and Anglophones are fleeing from there because not safe for them nowadays.

Refugees, eh?
-got a US sponsor to support each person, including children, while they look for jobs and housing?
-no one should expect these moochers to get Medicaid--right?
-everyone must speak English, with no accents allowed
-I hope every one of these beggars has a college degree and marketable skills
-don't forget that $1,000 fee, payable upon entry
-no non-Christians allowed, and also disallowed will be anyone with a firearm or a criminal record
-each person must check in at their local ICE office weekly, bringing with them bank statements and records of searching for work
-those not complying will be sent to El Salvador

Yet we do not want to provide asylum to people from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Venezuela who are fleeing civil wars and paramilitary terror militias? Our hypocrisy and racism could not be more fully on display.

That's always been the case. Hell some whites weren't white enough for full acceptance. Irish Italians the Poles to name a few.
