I feel bad after seeing those sad pictures. I didn't even know there was a war raging in Sudan! Whose side are we on? How is it my responsibility?
I hope we're arming somebody there to help end the suffering.

Sooo, if we feed and provide medical care for 'nations' which are perennially hungry and sick, which can't take care of their basic needs, then we won't have to bomb somebody? This makes no sense, other than to the people involved in the business of administrating such aid who collect administrative fees and reddit gold virtue signal points.
Does your model account for those nations which are simultaneously bombed and fed? Both of these processes generate profit and overhead.

Many Americans kick their own children out at 18. When will we to allow these 'developing nations' to survive on their own? We have hungry, sick, people on our own streets, yet to signal virtue we tax everybody for the benefit of hopeless overseas hellscapes which are Never Going To Change.
If we try to feed a hungry Sudan, the result is not a fed Sudan; it's another three hungry ones.

You do realize NGOs have to compete with the private sector to attract top talent, right?
