"Instead of working with the United States, Canada retaliated with its own Tariffs," Trump said to Mark Carney, prime minister of Canada, in a letter posted on Truth Social.

From what I've been hearing, goods under the USMCA treaty may not be subject to this new tariff.

That's about 60% of the goods we receive from Canada.

We have a trade embargo Cuba.
We have a 35% tariff on Canada
We want Canada to be 35% more like Cuba.
