OK, in this instance I agree with AG Bondi 100%.

USDOJ Press Release

Congressional Report

If convicted, US Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick faces up to 53 years in prison.

Are you kidding me?

How many years did Dummkopf Trumpf get for 34 counts of business fraud committed over a lifetime?

And Congress wants to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI).

No surprise that Women of Color are under attack under the malevolent Trumpf junta.

On a different thread a drudge.com contributor used the term "white toxicity."

And how.

Well, Ms. Bondi, take a look at your fellow Cabinet members: you have your work cut out for you.
No, wait, you got bought by Donnie the Perv for a measly $25K (that we know about).

Trump should step in and pardon since he established there's nothing wrong with public corruption with his commutations/pardons for George Santos, Duncan Hunter, Steve Stockman, Rick Renzi, Rod Blagojevich, Duke Cunningham to name a few.

That is, good that she was indicted. Regardless of party, all elected officials should be subject to the law.

- all elected officials should be subject to the law.

Except for Trump.... let's not get carried away now.

A week ago when he knew he was going to have to capitulate and Taco Again on releasing the Epstein Files, he started a 'New DOJ Investigation' of some people in the Files so that he could Not Release parts he doesn't want out there.

Unfortunately for him, that Prohibition in the Bill is Temporary, and the Bill makes it Illegal NOT to release the files.

She's not without blemish

"The Florida Democrat has also been the subject of an ethics investigation into campaign finance issues and requesting community project funding, known as earmarks, to a for-profit entity, potentially in violation of House rules"

What would be good is this to be on the front page, similar to all the other congressmen that took money that wasn't theirs.

Otherwise your good just looks like pandering.

If convicted, US Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick faces up to 53 years in prison.

Really?

Lower level Nazi war criminals were finally released from Soviet custody in 1955 and 1956 after serving ten year sentences. Some went on to write memoirs of the Third Reich or their time in the gulags. The books which became movies about Der Fuhrer's last days in the bunker came from their testimony.

Moreover, the Immortal Bard didn't live as long as this potential sentence of 53 years for Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick.

William Shakespeare passed on 23 April 1616, at the tender age of 52.

By name I didn't recognize if this was a Dem or a Rep... but since it wasn't in the headline, I had a good feeling it was a D. Not surprised to find out I was right. Definitely no media bias in news coverage though.

Here's Gaslighter, mansplaining to KW, a fact he already ascertained from the article.

Even if convicted she won't get 53 years, she won't even go to jail. Who do you think she is? Trump?

How many years did 34 felony Trump go to jail for again? I forget.

It was definitely buried in the article, my contention though is that the AP would have it in the headline if it were an R. maybe not.

How many years did 34 felony Trump go to jail for again?

Well, since every one of those 34 "felonies" was a misdemeanor and had never been used against anyone in the nation, I doubted he would go to prison.

They only did that so people like Snoofy and JPW could call Trump a felon.

"every one of those 34 "felonies" was a misdemeanor"

That's not what the court said.

That's not what the jury said.

"...had never been used against anyone in the nation,"

In the nine years before Trump was indicted, the SDNY averaged filing a "falsifying business records" case once every TWO WORKING HOURS.

#25 You really think that everyone of those 34 "felonies" was a misdemeanor?

Seriously, "major" boazo boi?

They were misdemeanors?

Whoops to you (and sucks to be you) ...

Donald Trump was convicted in New York of 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, a violation of New York Penal Law 175.10.
Falsifying business records is generally a misdemeanor in New York; however, it is elevated to a Class E felony (the lowest level felony) when the intent to defraud includes an "intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof".
In this case, the prosecution successfully argued that the business records were falsified to conceal an illegal scheme to violate New York State election law and federal campaign finance laws in order to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Yep.

Sucks to be you, "major" boazo boi

Because the guy you voted for bungled everything, apparently because he committed the same crime(s) and wasn't charged.

But a couple of clowns around here will tell you that if you give back the classified documents, the law allows you a free pass.

None of that matters though. Trump was elected President and will remain president until he isn't or his term is over - and that's the rub.

Now everyone, Republicans included, get to see the downside of having a Republican President announce publicly that he will be seeking revenge on his political opposition and has an AG ready and willing to use her office to carry out vendettas against Democrats. She has no credibility now! Everyone believes this is just another political witch hunt like many she has already openly conducted. Up until now Rep. McCormick has been scandal free so I'll hold judgement until the evidence is presented by this very partisan woman appointed by Trump with a very clear agenda of attacking Democrats. I'm not a gambler but in this situation betting on Bondi would be stupid!

Boaz, whether you like it or not, gilded gawd Trump is a 34-times convicted felon and adjudicated sexual abuser.
Those facts concern a lot of normals.
But they don't seem to faze you.
In the least.
Which speaks volumes about a pair of lewzer boys.
