his mother Kristina maintains that she made the right decision in declining the measles vaccine
This is the level of stupid we're up against.
"We're not blaming God for this," said 35-year-old Kristina. "Yes, it hurts, of course, it hurts. But God has chosen Ethan for a reason. God is doing something, and we're gonna glorify his name regardless.
Religions is, far too often, a disease.
Hey dumbf*&^, don't use God to justify you being a s*&^ty parent. If God exists, he/she/it is probably facepalming at the speed of light right now while saying with utter exasperation "I sent someone to create a vaccine to prevent this, you idiot!"

She feels better condemning her son to a life of difficulty instead of admitting she was wrong.
Handicaping your kid as if life is not difficult enough.
Just wow
Definitely wps

They let "God" decide. Pffft! It's criminal negligence is what it is.
They cannot blame their God when the decision was actually theirs.
When they get to their Heaven and they ask their God why He didn't help God will just say, "What do you mean? I sent you a perfectly good vaccine that would have prevented this!" "And YOU decided not to use it".

This is what's wrong with Christians.
They use Christianity to justify stupidity.
This Christian has stupid beliefs, they caused her child harm, and she's proud of it.

These "parents" never live up to their rhetoric. Ethan didn't get the vaccine because his pig-ignorant mother doesn't want "all that stuff" in her child's body. Now he has an IV, catheter, antibiotics and steroids. No objections to multiple MRI, blood draws or a spinal tap. Ethan should die at home, the way god intended.

The son should get sent to child protective services and the mother should be arrested for negligence and child endangerment.
