Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, March 31, 2026

The bullet that killed conservative commentator Charlie Kirk did not match the rifle used by suspected killer Tyler Robinson, a bombshell new court filing states. Robinson, 22, is facing capital murder charges and a potential death sentence for Kirk's murder at Utah Valley University on September 10. But his defense attorneys now argue that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives 'was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr Robinson.' The defense team may now offer the ATF firearm analyst's testimony as exculpatory evidence, they said in a motion filed on Friday to push the preliminary hearing back at least six months, Fox News reports.

Thats not what the ATF report filing indicated, it said "inconclusive".

Perfectly preserved in his heart. A miraculous, modern stigmata type expression of his holiness.

I've seen some interesting discussions about this topic lately, the most interesting being the location of where the rifle was found.

Apparently, it was in a chicken coop about a hundred yards from the building and was part of the area swept by local and state police using bomb sniffing dogs...

...the types of dogs who would have detected the scent of a recently fired rifle.

Somehow, the dogs missed it while the FBI showed up something like 24 hours late (because Douchebag Patel was tying up aircraft resources) and within a few hours, at night, found it.

So, either the rifle wasn't there at the time of the initial sweep, or the rifle was there but was not recently fired so as to not have the scent of spent powder on it.

And Kashyap spent so much time engraving those casings.

Trump really does enjoy surrounding himself with morons and losers.

When I heard Donny Doll Hands sputter that out it all makes sense.

However, he has an IQ of 73 so I thought it would be harder to find people dumber than him. But here we are.

Nick Fuentes ordered the hit on Charlie Kirk because Charlie Kirk wasn't pro ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Charlie tried to change his tune in the weeks before his death, but the damage was already done.

Kash Patel is covering for Nick Fuentes, the spiritual leader of the CPAC extreme right wing of the post-Trump Republicans.

"Charlie Kirk was widely known as a staunch defender of Israel but in 2023"2025 he made a series of remarks and editorial choices that critics say softened or complicated that image"questioning Israeli tactics during the Gaza war, criticizing Jewish philanthropy to U.S. universities, and hosting commentators who called Israel's conduct a "genocide," all of which provoked pushback from proIsrael conservatives and accusations of antisemitism" factually.co

I used to deer hunt a lot and mainly used a 30-06. My choice of shot was in the heart when the side profile was visible but have taken a couple of neck shots and one was with the deer facing me. I know what that looks like, and it didn't look anything like the Kirk assassination. So I completely understand the projectile not matching what is being sold as the murder weapon.

Something is very wrong with the whole scenario. The fact that the crew sanitized the crime scene in front of everyone, and paved over it days later is also unsettling.

Many have pointed out that his widow's behavior has been bizarre, but it could be linked to the trauma she endured. So I will refrain from raw-dogging on her.

"neck shots and one was with the deer facing me."

Wasn't the shooter at like a 45 degree angle from Charlie?

It was a head shot that dropped more than expected because the rifle was pointed slightly down; not level with the ground.

That's a stretch. If the rifle was as you say "pointed down slightly" the shooter would have recognized that in the optics and corrected.
