Trump urged states to fund benefits programs instead because "we have to take care of one thing: military protection."

Trump is right, we can either pay for "daycare, Medicaid, Medicare all these things," or we can pay for more war. Every dollar we spend on this illegal war of choice, is a dollar that could have helped improve life right here at home. He's telling us what he cares about more.

I'm so glad I'm getting the f*&^ out of here.

This country is nothing like the one I grew up in and it's nothing close to the one that I would want my sons to grow up in.

"We're fighting wars. We can't take care of daycare. You got to let a state take care of daycare, and they should pay for it too. They should pay. They'll have to raise their taxes, but they should pay for it. And we could lower our taxes a little bit to them to make up," Trump said. "It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things. They can do it on a state basis. You can't do it on a federal. We have to take care of one thing: military protection.

"I can't get a ballroom approved. It's pretty amazing, right?" Trump also said in the speech. "If I was a king, we'd be doing a lot more. I'm doing a lot, but I could be doing a lot more if I was a king."

@# ... "I can't get a ballroom approved. It's pretty amazing, right?" ...

What is amazing to me about the ballroom fiasco is that Pres Trump apparently knew it would not be approved, so he just went ahead and tore down the East Wing of the White House so that there were few alternatives to what he wanted to do.

Trash it first then ---- on the Rubble.

At least he has to live with the Mess now.

He may have to rebuild it the way it was.

That's Humiliating for a Bounder to have to do.

He's certainly no going to be stepping in front of any tanks in Tiananmen Square.

He's more of a fair weather Chinaman.

Trump, after his presidency is over

Americans already don't have universal healthcare-- as enjoyed by the residents of Germany, Israel, Canada, Greenland, Taiwan, and tiny Albania-- and now the little help that we do get-- funded with our own tax dollars-- will disappear to fight this war on behalf of wealthy, nuclear-armed Israel.

AIPAC-recipient political candidates and incumbents better start looking over their shoulders this year for giving us what Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu has craved for 25 years: Operation AIPAC Fury.

Got A Lot Of Livin' To Do ...

Life's a ball
If only you know it
Yeah it's all just waiting for you
Ah you're alive,
So come on and show it
We got a lot of livin'
Such a lot of livin'
... Tonight's the night we're gonna fly
Let's kick this hick town in the hide
... I want a taste of everything
Let's live it up and really swing
... Got a lot of living living living to do
... Live!

The big bulls**t bill adds $3 trillion in debt over 10 years for cuts to the top 1%. Who buys those bonds? The 1%. So now workers are paying the 1% interest on the debt created by cutting taxes on the 1%.

Yet another campaign ad for the Dems against every GOP candidate in the mid-term elections. GOPers from sea to shining sea will be running away from this proposed budget like rats from a sinking ship. No mail-in ballots, cuts to Medicare and the continuation of an expensive foreign war of choice, all from an 80-year old president who is showing his age with every movement, breath and utterance. If there are free, open and fair elections this fall (a BIG if) the GOP will be spanked in a manner never seen before in this country...

What Trumpy apparently does not or cannot understand.. National Defense and Security actually includes keeping your population healthy. What's the ourpose of building a wall and an invincible military when your people behind that wall and under the protection of that military are reduced to the struggling poor and are sick and starving.
