Talking about the joke doesn't do it justice. Looking on Youtube I can only find references to the joke, without the audience's response. You need to heard the audience to get the full effect.

The response is what I found more disturbing than the joke itself. The audience clapped and yelled with enthusiasm and for an extended length of time.

What is it about him specifically that drives that sort of reaction?

For example before he was elected, I've criticized how he conducted business and apparently considered bankruptcies a business plan.

But I never saw that as a reason to hate him.

You're referencing something I said last November. I went back and pulled the actual post.

Here it is, word for word:

"You'll have to direct that question to the men on this site. Is getting your finger stinky rape?"

That's the full extent of it.

Now compare that to how you're describing it.

I asked a question. I didn't defend anything, and I didn't say anything about acting without consent. That's something you've added.

So let's keep this grounded in what was actually said, not a rewritten version of it.

If you want to argue my actual words, go ahead.

If you want to argue something else, don't put words in my mouth.

I'm not going to get into a discussion about rape.

Obviously it is wrong. To imply I believe rape is ok is just your basic typical smear tactic.

I've read various accusations made against Trump and have no interest in responding to any of that. That's for the courts to decide.

The way you are presenting this, you make it appear I am asking why do people hate Trump, as if I am defending him.

You overlooked Snoofy asking me, "Do you know why people hate Trump?"

My response to him was "Tell me why people hate Trump".

That's always the problem with these sort of threads. Just reading one line and not seeing the full dialog.

I'll give you some slack and figure you just didn't know.

In my earlier post I stated it was disturbing how the audience was clapping and laughing at the joke about Trump being assassinated in the theatre like Lincoln. Had nothing to do with rape.

I will not stop responding to you. I am looking forward to calling you dishonest and devious every chance I get.
