I seem to remember posters here acting like Biden's releases of oil from the SPR was a desperate move of a weak POTUS.

Now the MaStEr NeGoShEeAtOrz POTUS is dumping oil left and right to try and cover for his colossal blunder in Iran.

Between the intentional hiring of incompetent, unqualified sycophants for leadership positions and being a s*&^ty fake bithnithman himself, Trump is f*&^ing this country seven ways from Sunday.

And the idiots still continue to support him no matter what.

On loan? So they don't even have to pay for it?

#1 Because they're in a cult.

"The oil will be released on loan"

A loan that will never be repaid thereby turning it into just another theft of taxpayer funds for their billionaire friends.

That is so on brand for the most corrupt and worst president ever.

So?

So? So before the Iran debacle, there were posters b*&^%ing and moaning about Biden releasing oil from the SPR as a signal that he's a weak POTUS doing anything, including risking national security, to try and lessen his losses in the midterms. (Funny thing is Biden's release was actually a single, solidified release that was completing deals made by Trump for the release...).

Now, we have Trump stepping on his own d*&^ so colossally that he's releasing oil multiple times to mitigate the consequences.

So, to answer your question, this is yet again another instance of Trumpers having such epic Trump D*&^ Sucking Syndrome (TDSS), you wouldn't be stepping on your own d*&^s to defend his absurd stupidity.

Trump is doing the same thing Biden did. No one said it's a sign of being a weak President. What was said, is that Biden was using the oil reserves in an effort to sway the midterms. And that's exactly what's going on here.

Biden also tried to use student loan forgiveness the same way - at the same time.

Wait until you see the list of preemptive pardons in 2028 that Biden paved the way for.

Trump is crazy scum.

You can't compare him with anyone else.

He is sui generis.

Now, he'd take that as a compliment.

Not understanding that it means uniquely crazy scum.

I don't object to Trump releasing oil from the SPR.

The difference between us is I care Trump started a pointless, unwinnable war with Iran. And you do not.

--------. You stood on the sidelines while Biden let Putin invade Ukraine with an ounce of diplomacy given a chance. You also watched Biden give hundreds of billion in cash to Zelensky not including weapons while sanctioning Russia. Inflation and fuel went higher than it is now and you said nothing, so f--k off with that nonsense.

What part of my post is wrong and why?

All of it.

Everything America is dealing with right now is a result of Trump's actions since he went into office in January 2025.

Especially the unnecessary war he started because Netanyahu has leverage.

Also, all Americans who love America should support our tax dollars going to educate future generations of Americans.

The goal of every American should be to create a stronger, healthier, happier society for is all to live in. That's literally the purpose of a society is to benefit everyone within it.

The problem is, over the last 50 years. The Republican Party have convinced people that greed and apathy are virtues to be proud of.

And now we have the MAGA movement openly celebrating the destruction of America.

You're part of that problem.

Your every post supports the downfall of our nation.

"You stood on the sidelines while Biden let Putin invade Ukraine with an ounce of diplomacy given a chance."

That's some pretty extensive revisionist history.

Biden warned the world Putin was going to invade in the weeks and months leading up to the invasion, and then led the defensive armament of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Trump's "diplomacy" on Ukraine is nothing more than Ukraine surrending territory to Russia.
That's not diplomacy, that's rolling over and letting your "ally" get raped by Russia.

Nothing you said is remotely accurate. And one of the ways we can tell you know that you're lying, is when you start getting emotional.

I guess you don't understand that sanctions are diplomacy.

#18 Eb says, "Most here think this all started when Trump got elected."

The Lewis Powell Memo, officially titled "Attack on American Free Enterprise System," was an August 23, 1971 confidential blueprint sent by corporate lawyer Lewis F. Powell Jr. to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It urged the American business community to aggressively mobilize and defend capitalism against mounting political and social activism.

snip ...

The Courts: Urged conservatives to recognize the courts as a potent arena for advancing business interests, which Powell himself later facilitated through key judicial opinions.

Media Monitoring: Proposed rigorous monitoring of national television networks and textbooks to counter alleged anti-business bias.

Education: Advocated for an active role in shaping university curriculums and hiring conservative scholars.

Lobbying and Think Tanks: Called for vastly increased funding for business advocacy, leading directly to the establishment of influential conservative organizations like the Heritage Foundation and the Business Roundtable

Sound familiar?

That's the blueprint laid out 55 years ago.

No it started when nixon resigned, and republicans decided the way to avoid ever being held accountable for their crimes again was to create their own delusional alternate reality news media, where their crimes never happened and it's actually democrats who are evil.

Biden released oil to address a global crisis that was an act of God.

Trump released oil to address a global crisis that he alone created in order to distract from the epstein files.
