Everyone should keep in mind that Trump, and many of his people, have been having issues with Gabbard ever since both Venezuela and the war with Iran, over her long term opposition to foreign involvement, particularly when it came to forcing regime change.

No reason to automatically suppose that there is truth in her story.
Other sources state that Trump forced her out.
