Unable to afford to buy diapers in the dystopic US, a Woman of Color and an accomplice allegedly shoplifted them from a Wal-Mart in Senatobia, MS. During their escape, local police officers opened fire on the car, critically wounding an adult and killing a one-year-old child named Kohen Wiley.

White police officers shooting unarmed or fleeing People of Color-- a legalized form of modern-day lynching, like below -- is a horrible and unacceptable fact of life in the US.

What possible reason could they have for shooting at a fleeing car that stole diapers? If that cop has a shred of humanity, they'll never be able to even look at a gun again.

On the bright side she won't have to steal diapers for him anymore.

This Country Sucks Ass.

In a Sane country they could be assisted with buying diapers, not Killed for stealing them.

I've posted it recently, but if you've not yet enjoyed: Nina Simone, "Mississippi Goddam."

So the link connects to a Miss. Dept of Public Safety bulletin which gives a brief overview of the event, and that an investigation is underway.

In the bulletin in infers the vehicle may have been used as a weapon by driving at the police. Which answers why they would have fired at the car if this is accurate.

Until actual details are released, there seems to be a quick jump to assign motives to the office based solely on the race of the suspects. I'll wait for actual facts.

"In the bulletin in infers the vehicle may have been used as a weapon by driving at the police"

^
That's pathetically lazy thinking.
Any car "may" be used as a weapon.
That is also escalation of violence by the police without any true evidence to support escalation.
And that's why it makes sense to you. You think the police should be the first to escalate violence. That's what it means to support Law and order.

I swear to god you read looking for the one clip to latch on the rail against.

The question was raised above "why fire at the fleeing car?", and a POSSIBLE answer was in the briefing AND I added IF ACCURATE.

You already have this entire incident in your head, how it happened, who was wrong, and why. When in reality you have NO facts to go on. You also then extrapolate out my supposed position on this incident and ALL police related incidents based on me posting a simple fact answering a question above.

You live in a miserable world of your own imagination, have fun there.

Never fear. The credibility of the stalwart investigative agency the "Mississippi Bureau of Investigation" is on the case. Lol.

Just have David Duke investigate.

Or the the now-defunct, but thoroughly odious, Mississippi Sovereignty Commission.
