Saudi's MSB musta told him they'd cancel his building contracts if he attacked Iranian 'Infrastructure', aka civilians... as that means Iran would do the same to their neighbors.

(there's a thread about that)

Which makes the score something like; Israel 42, Saudi Arabia 3.

Why doesn't he just sign his 490th Executive Order decreeing the Strait of Hormuz open, and the war over?

Is the Strait of Hormuz open yet?

What about the Red Sea?

Asked differently, is this the off-ramp Pres Trump had been so desperately seeking?

We'll find out when the details are released.

Trump, by report, spends most of his time raging. Iran is the primary focus. His failure there is an insult to his genius. He's not going to let it go.

I don't take much comfort from Trump backing down. He'll be slavering for revenge again soon enough. R-E-V-E-N-G-E. Against the Iranians three times much as he enjoys dishing that out to his own people.

I've been afraid of him using nukes. I'm still afraid of that. I see no reason why I should not be.

The off-ramp he seeks is the one which leads a slow procession of black Cadillacs to his own grave.

Watch Turning Point, The Bomb and the Cold War on Netflix.

We don't like to think about it or talk about it anymore but we are still only one bad decision or one mistake one miscalculation and minutes away from a nuclear Apocalypse that would end civilization on earth.

BTW- The United States and Russia do not currently have an active nuclear arms treaty. The last remaining bilateral pact, the New START Treaty, officially expired on February 5, 2026, leaving both nations without legally binding limits on their strategic nuclear arsenals for the first time in over 50 years.
