Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville said he would rather see Republicans keep control of the House by five seats than watch Democrats win the chamber by the same margin, warning that a "nightmare" razor-thin majority would leave party leaders "hostage to the DSA."

"Carville is still alive?"

From the neck up? As much as Ted Williams still is.

Turds loves Carville, because Carville tells Turds what he wants to hear.

The future of America is either an authoritarian fascist failed nation resembling the USSR, or a progressive Democratic socialist nation resembling Canada and Europe.

Most conservatives would prefer authoritarian fascist government as long as it means white people can believe that they're superior to Brown and Black people.

James was part of the crew that sold out the party's trad base of working people for Wall St cash and the mythic "soccer mom" vote.
Part of the problem, not a solution.

If you get enough of these DSA candidates you're going to find out real quick what fascism looks like. Just wait until they run out of other people's money and the rich flee for higher ground.

You're an idiot. You live in a place with an astronomical cost of living and blame everyone else with money because you can't afford anything.

From Carville's Wikipedia bio:

Carville led successful state campaigns before gaining national attention as a lead strategist in Bill Clinton's winning 1992 presidential campaign.[3] He also played a principal role crafting in the campaigns of several Democratic presidential candidates, including Massachusetts Senator John Kerry in 2004, New York Senator Hillary Clinton in 2008, and Colorado Senator Michael Bennet in 2020.

Each of the campaigns mentioned since the Bill Clinton era was unsuccessful.

Carville is sometimes good for one-liners, but he really is basically done.

You should look up fascism.

You're clearly ignorant.

Why should I pay $13.00 for a two-piece chicken basket?

I can afford it. But why should I have to?

The sandwich I paid $8.00 for not long ago now costs me almost fifteen.

I enjoy eating out. But I can see not doing so out of outrage.

I could see some restaurants and restaurant chains collapsing if there are very many people who share my feelings.

Oh, we all know who to blame.

I could see living on rice and beans and being happy. Because I used to live on rice and beans and was happy.

But I have severe doubts about you. Or any of the right-wing snowflakes that you know.

You're saying the rich will leave the USA and set up shop someplace that isn't 40 trillion dollars in debt?

Collapsing the petro-dollar means crypto needs a new backing..

Empty Bank Day looms closer than you care, imo.

Saw a chart today that the dollar is collapsing but nothing is replacing it.

This is the unwritten agenda of Project 2025. Total systemic breakdown.

Over a few generations, the earth is depopulated by 80%. The rich believe their money will put them in the 20%.

It's like the kid from Twilight Zone who wished them into the cornfield read some Ayn Rand and heard about the Pareto Principle.

This is what Boaz and the rest voted for.
Find me any Trumper who says an 80% die-off of humans is a bad idea.

Happy Extinction!

Crypto has little long term future. It will be broken with upcoming "hardware" advances.

No they won't have to leave, just their wealth. There are so many illegal immigrants, I don't see why a rich person won't come back illegally.

In the long run wealthy won't hold US dollars or anything associated with US dollars (euro dollars). Don't know how you tax internationally at that point.
