The most you could be saving on $135k untaxed, is about $50,000.

An employer who actually wants to hire a highly skilled employee, the kind making $250k and up, can find another $50k to incent them.

Whereas what actually happened is Uncle Sam let you off the hook on your first $135k of income, but to you, it all spends the same.

In other words, to grease the wheels of rich people getting richer, American taxpayers pick up that $50k you aren't paying.

Are Americans working overseas still taxed at 50%, or does this $135K exemption replace that, or is the $135K exemption a new handout for the already well-to-do?
