Has anyone trained an AI on The Bible and asked it about abortion? I could probably do that on my 5080, right? One tiny little book doesn't seem like much to train on. Probably best to train it by downloading that website which has all the different translations though.

The tech writeups aren't telling me much. Half the energy cost per token, whatever that means, feels evolutionary, not revolutionary.

I guess it's more market diversification too. Seems like certain tasks will benefit from this, others not so much. Another tool in the shed.

Our solution to this problem:
Churches can but child molestation insurance in case their priests do it, the civil lawsuits won't sink the Church financially.

One hopes the State will impose standards that e.g. a Christian daycare isn't held to, and won't voluntarily implement.

Under normal circumstances, driving a motorcade through a drained pool in the middle of being refurbished would probably be called "Vandalism" by an aggressive prosecutor.

I applaud someone for recognizing it before they father any kids.

It's a task that's miles and miles beyond some. It's okay to admit it if you're one of those men.

Free childcare would absolutely help because for at least a few hours a day, someone competent would be looking after the kids.
Better schools would help.
Banning social media for children would help.

A better economy for the poor and middle class, so parents could spend less time working and more time with their family, would help.

And Republicans are a hard NO on all of those things.

Men commit 90% of violent crimes.
Men are why most women experience sexual harassment in their lives.
Society still trusts them.

The threat model is broken.
So are the men.

Somebody with that much depression probably shouldn't pass it on.

That's so far out of the norm it sounds like internal trauma.

It's just the most egregious one.
Our civilization is not worth perpetuating.

Maybe if I were in a different country, one where the culture is less -----, being a father could work.

But that's not the hand I was dealt, or how I played it.

Police, coaches, teachers, priests, wealthy businessmen.

Boyfriends, ex-boyfriends, fathers, uncles, brothers too.

It's usually someone you trust.
And quite often, society won't believe you.
Because it's someone they trust.

Take the millions who don't believe Trump is a rapist. Now that's a political construct, but the reason it works is: Culturally, the President is someone we can trust. That culrutal authority has been built over centuries and millennia and inculcated and reinforced throughout our lives.

The people who can't understand this are of course the people who need to know it the most. Not that I'm accusing you of that.
