As 90% of Americans say grocery prices are a major source of stress, the nation's top grocery chains have said they're passing the cost of Trump's tariffs onto consumers, according to a new report. www.commondreams.org/news/tariffs ...

Headline failure.

Should read, "Pedo 47 Responsible For Soaring Grocery Prices".

He's the reason.

Give him the credit he deserves.

Lets swatch major grocery chains, and Big Ag profits and see how they are 'weathering the storm'.

The plan all along was to raise taxes on the middle class to cut taxes for billionaires.

Always.

It is the SOP for the GOP.

If you thought a billionaire was going to lower prices for you, you're a special kind of stupid.

US second quarter GDP growth jumps up to 3.3% to beat expectations.

That's the best quarter since third quarter 2023.

Remember how Democrats said President Trump's tariffs would cause a recession?

Remember how Democrats said President Trump's tariffs would cause a recession?

The bankruptcy-prone orange pedo just racked up the worst 3 month period for job creation since the last time he stunk up the White House.

Remember how Democrats said when the recession comes, you will blame Biden.

Remember when inflation was WAY higher than it is today (9%) under Biden and Dems ignored it and said it's not really true? Even the DR lib kids on this site said it was not actually true. Oh, but now that it's 2.9% today, all of a sudden "soaring grocery costs" comes out of DR lib kids mouths.

I'm sure you don't care since it doesn't meet your narrative but this is a topic that completely illustrates the point of how hypocritical so many partisan people really are.

Remember how Trump made it clear he will fire anyone who publish numbers that he views as less than positive?
If you believe any numbers the Trump administration published them you are a moron.

No. I don't remember anyone "ignoring" it. I do remember a lot debating going on around the cause and the actual numbers. Which still happens. Except now we can't trust ANY of the data because if Dear Leader is not pleased with the data he just fires everyone.

I also remember getting a big cola to compensate for it. Which means it was obviously NOT being "ignored".

I also remember WHY it happened. Do you?

Oh sure Fluffer you can SAY that but with Trumpy and his minions actively manipulating the data no one will really know if that is true for years or maybe decades.

And it decrease by .5% in Q1 when everyone rushed to import products to fill warehouses to hopefully out last the tariffs.

Imports crashed in Q2 as companies lived on what's in their warehouses so the GDP naturally saw an artificial bounce.

That's like saying "I saved $400 this week because I bought $800 worth of groceries last week and am therefore expecting to save $400 per week forever now!"

But the average is now 1.4% GDP growth for the year. That's NOT something to brag about.

What happens when these companies have to start importing again under the tariffs?

I do, every Lumper here called it "transitory".

That's not "ignoring" it you dumbass commie liar.

That's reminding you that "this too shall pass".

Or as Joni Ernst puts it, "we are ALL gonna die someday".

As it turns out it WAS indeed temporary as the Biden Admin did eventually get it under control again and handed the next administration a healthy economy.

Or are you gonna lie and try and deny that too, you commie liar?
