Experts (progressives) cite complexity of problem, which is rooted in poverty, lack of affordable housing but includes medical, psychiatric, substance-use issues
The actual article that I wanted to post is here: www.dailymail.co.uk
The dailymail article shows why you cant just put most homeless people right next to actual working families. They just arent the same. Most homeless havent conformed.
Why do you think housing is so expensive? It's because people just want to live next to people who think like them. Neighborhoods are quiet because everyone in the neighborhood wants quiet. No one wants to live next to the ------- who is blasting music out of his garage in the middle of the night. You move around people who think like you because you want peace. That's why it's so expensive to live in nice neighborhoods.
No one wants to live around drug addicts or the mentally ill, because we arent drug addicts or mentally ill.
-I'm not sure if this sentence is missing the word "not"
Yes, it was. I was in a hurry to get going.
I'm surprised Republicans haven't been successfully lobbied by CoreCivic and GEO Group to simply criminalize being homeless.
We've got the camps already built.

I find these sorts of statements so interesting from my Liberal cohorts. Its like you don't understand American history, and how "progressive" policies have gotten so incredibly restrictive. What on the surface look like good ideas (save the wildlife), end up being weapons against progress.
Marin is the most liberal progressive area in California, not one republican to block anything and yet ...
How Marin County killed our California Dream (Home)
I run a real estate tech company after selling a speciality financing originator and once being called "The most accurate housing market forecaster in America". My wife has built over a billion dollars of affordable housing, in San Francisco and east coast.
So , when we found a small lot in Mill Valley to build a home for our boys in a good school district, we thought we knew the playbook. We thought we had the experience. We thought we were prepared.

Again with all due respect read the book Abundance, or better yet WhyNothingWorks. Even your UBI homeless stats are incorrect.
Lumpers feel their so superior to their conservative cohorts, but for some reason redstates are much better in almost every category in your quote.
I'm not one medical bill away from being homeless and neither are most of us here.

Are you using your personal status to claim that a large portion of the population is NOT just one significant setback away from homelessness?
