Too bad, there's a lot to learn from Spain which has an excellent pension system for retirees, universal healthcare unlike the US, a growing population thanks to immigration, as well as delicious produce, wine, and cuisine.

Wouldn't free market conservatives care that Spain is freeloading on NATO, all the while as Cornholio states, splurging on its people.

Why Spain is not meeting NATO spending targets

Snchez leads a fragile minority coalition dependent on left-wing and regional nationalist parties that are skeptical of increased military spending. His Socialist Party governs in partnership with the far-left parties Unidas Podemos and Sumar, and it relies on small Basque and Catalan nationalist parties to maintain a parliamentary majority. These partners view military investment with suspicion, fearing that higher defense budgets would come at the expense of social spending programs.

Let me guess when Putin comes calling in Europe, Spain will expect the US to abide by its NATO obligations.
It must be nice to be defended by others.

Why in hell would anyone believe that Trump would live up to a NATO obligation?
