A couple things that capitalism gives you that socialism and collectivism doesnt: Privacy and individualism. Capitalism guards these things. You cant have them in a progressive ideology. The left MUST know who is rich and who isnt. They have to know where to aim their hate. They have to know where and who to physically TAKE things from to give away. That's how socialist democracies work. The exact thing our Constitutional Republic was made to avoid and is morally against. Take from those who produce and give to those who dont. But also, it gives the leftist something to make it look like they are morally correct. The capital they dont have. I truly believe some leftists want to help the poor. Problem is, they are just poor themselves and they dont have the money to do so. So they end up hurting and demonizing those very people who would and could be the ones to take care of the poor. The wealthy people they dont know.
