The United States is becoming less popular globally in the aftermath of Donald Trump's return to the White House, according to new data.

Global perceptions of US fall below China, survey says reut.rs/3EMIIUI[image or embed]

Meanwhile, China kept improving its global standing, overtaking the U.S. for the first time and recording mostly positive perceptions in all regions except Europe. Russia, the reputation of which tanked in the wake of President Vladimir Putin's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, is still (slightly) more unpopular than the U.S. " though its image is also improving. Trump's reputation is in line with that of his country. The survey showed he's less popular worldwide than his Russian and Chinese counterparts, Putin and Xi Jinping.
The orange pedo is loathed more than Putin. That's impressive.

Ok I agree that you should always put the oxygen mask on yourself first.
But Americans are the wealthiest according to your philosophy. So we are breathing just fine. Relatively speaking.
You gonna just sit there and watch your fellow humans suffocate or are you gonna try and put a mask on them too? Just because those humans are way over there does not mean they are not in the same cosmic foxhole with you. We all live on the same speck of dust floating in the Great Expanse. Everything affects everything here. Some things more than others.
So what's the point of being the most wealthy country on the planet (if that's actually true) if you cannot help benefit the planet or anyone or anything on it? Are we gonna build a dome over America and never leave the country again and let the rest of the world suffocate when we could have saved them and made our little speck of dust just a little nicer and reduce human suffering just a little just by lending a helping hand?
