The Trump Admin. just made machine guns legal again by permitting the sale of devices that turn AR-15s into fully automatic weapons. Forced-reset triggers increase a weapon's rate of fire to mimic fully automatic guns--allowing a shooter to fire an entire magazine's worth of ammunition in seconds.

Every eleven minutes someone is killed by a firearm in the US or 132 KIA daily. In 2022, the American population decreased by 48,000 because of gun violence (per the CDC). What other modern Western country tolerates wartime casualty rates like this? Will the US reach the fabled 50,000 mark under the Trumpf junta? FFS, Trumpf was almost whacked with an assault rifle. Stupid is as stupid does.

AG Pam Bondi went so far as to claim that allowing this 'device' to be sold, will actually "enhance public safety". I'm not sure how she came to that conclusion, but we'll see what happens the first time one of these 'devices' are found in a weapon used during a mass shooting.
