Doug Landry, who plans professional events like the Trump birthday parade, writes, "I just got back from the Trump parade and I have to say it was legitimately the worst executed mass attendance event I've ever seen. One overarching thought: how do you spend $80 million and fumble the basics?"

This is a feature, not a bug, of any Trump event.

In 2017, the Trump inaugural raised $107 million, a total far in excess of what the committee spent on its events. The committee " whose top staff included notorious crooks like Rick Gates and Elliot Broidy " never presented any accounting of its expenditures, let alone an audit. Tens of millions of dollars simply disappeared.

This parade was such a shame and embarrassment for the United States. There's no way around it. Playing "Fortunate Son" summed it all up. What a shame, too. Clearly this was not a practiced parade event. It wasn't joyous. It seemed - sad.

250 years is significant and worth properly acknowledging. I did congratulate and thank my Army friends/acquaintances over the weekend for 250 years and their service.

This was just another example of "everything Trump touches dies."

People...these aren't mistakes. This wasn't "fumbled."

It's done as cheaply as possible while charging as much as possible.

And it looked and sounded as cheap as possible.

I couldn't imagine being one of the guys from the 10th mountain division who has trained for years and is part of a preeminent military unit...to have to march down a DC street to Barracuda playing like some cheap wedding reception at a Hilton somewhere.

It was embarrassing and humiliating and even heartbreaking for the vets who HAD to participate and for the vets who could NOT attend because of Trumpy's hateful policies it was just sad.

The soldiers were obviously not taking this seriously as it showed in their undisciplined 'marching'. NCO's, Officers and enlisted men all seemed to indicate with their body language that they felt like political pawns and so they walked as opposed to marching to show this distaste for this ugly expensive fascist event. I am glad they did that and felt that way and we know whose side their are on in this ---- and that sure the ---- is not Donald The orange pig traitor's.

DR lib kids are some of the worst liberal extremists on any comment boards I am a part of. Even CNN's comment boards, when available in an article, have much more balanced people who hold liberal opinions but don't constantly illustrate how hypocritical they are. I've even seen some have an actual debate with some replies and they didn't name call or demonize the other person, and one who actually even thanked someone for sharing their opinino (who admittedly was an ----- and an extreme MAGA person so bad it made me cringe reading a couple of his comments). That was a rare instance but I'll take that over the zero instances of any DR lib kids actually accepting reality, commonsense, or logic that doesn't support their narrative. Not saying anyone has to agree but accepting a different viewpoint is a good trait...except if you are a partisan person, then it's an evil that should be avoided at all costs.
