Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell took to social media tonight to announce that his office has been subpoenaed in a criminal probe that is an attempt to pressure the Federal Reserve to do the presidents bidding. "This is about whether the Fed will be able to continue to set interest rates based on evidence and economic conditions -- or whether instead monetary policy will be directed by political pressure or intimidation," he said.
